| Runny nose I was wondering if this is anything to worry about. Gracie has a runny nose the discharge looks clear. My daughter used our human ear thermometer on her last night and it read 100.5. Is the runny nose anything I should worry about?

| I am sorry I did not see this earlier. How is Gracie now. Dogs don’t tend to get minor colds in the same way as humans so runny nose could mean some kind of respiratory or sinus infection which will need treated with antibiotics from your vet. You might want to call your vet and ask them if you should bring her in. It is possible that it could be allergies also. |

| Update I took Gracie in and they think she has allergies. They gave her a shot of benedryl and a steriod. I hope this helps. She has stop sneezing and she doesn't have a runny nose right now. It is weird how your dog can have the same health issues as you do. Thank you to those who responded.
