HELP ! Is it a flu ?? HELP ! Maggie was fine this morning and the she threw up twice and i put her on the couch to clean up. She stayed there and didnt move (wich is strange for her). I noticed her tongue is white and she seems to be trembling mildly. Maybe she is cold ? I gave her water wich she drank .. and her fave watermelon but didnt want it. This was 15 minutes ago. Her tongue is still pale and her nose dry. SHe is not herself. Im waiting for the vet to open in 15 min to call. Has anyone ever had a yorkie with a flu ? Or dehydrated ?

Much Better Hi I am relieved to say that a couple hours later she started being herself again. She got sick again shortly after i posted the first msg and she slept for a while (with mommy beside her)and when she woke up she was a bit more active. The shakes stopped and she had a bite to eat and kept it down. She is back to her old self this evening. I dont know what it was ... Maybe a stomach bug ?

I am glad she is feeling better. Just keep an eye out on her so she does not have anther bout of it My Suzi got sick throwing up and all one morning. some things she ate she was fine, then vomited again .By the night she was better, and the next day just fine. I though maybe she got into something she was not suppose to?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry I missed this earlier. I am glad Maggie is much better. Sometimes they get little stomach upsets, if it goes on for awhile I usually will take them in, but many times they are fine in a few hours,

Hi well.. when Maggie got sick the first time I thought she ate her food too fast. She's a little piggy sometimes lol. So I checked her dish and it was still full of her kibble. So I began looking around to see if she had ate something she wasnt supposed to. I doubted it very much since I am so careful about what I leave around the house. I have never had a dog before Maggie so I was really unsure about how dogs act when they have a belly ache or a flu. I had the emergency vet appt. made but they could only see me after lunchtime. By that time she was much better so I cancelled. She is licking my feet as i type this out so I know she is back to herself LOL I think we will be going to bed early tonight ... we both need rest after today
