Thanks everyone for posting your encouragement throughout the day. When I get home and read them, it really helps me. I know your prayers are helping Tink too because she is so far from where she was last week.

No change today but that is good. She is still trying to move and doing a pretty good job of holding her head up for awhile. He had her first poo today so I guess that is a change after all! The vet was happy about that. They redid the blood tests today, so the results will be back tomorrow.

But there is some new news! Tink is stable and other than checking her blood work and the physical therapy, there is no reason for her to be in hospital now. So, if the lab results come back OK tomorrow, she is going home with Barb and her husband. Barb will bring her with everyday to watch her there and to get her PT. I am really jealous, but I know it's best for Tink.

I held her some more tonight and she was very snuggley - she kept trying to get her head on my cheek. So I helped her along by moving with her. Bless her little heart. I love her soooo much.

That IS awesome news, Susie! I am so glad.

BIG, BIG hugs!!!! I hope you can focus on you for a little while, knowing that Tink is in good hands. She will need you to bounce back ASAP, so please don't neglect yourself.

Ozzie says Tink looks pretty in her dress. (He is all over the keyboard tonight, the little dawg.)

I am so glad to read good news. It seems there have been to many sad stories lately.
I remember that you are having surgery soon so hopefully you and Tink will be home and recovering together before you know it.

Aww, she loves her mommy so much. That's great that she can leave the hospital. I think I would feel the same way you do about her going home with someone else. You can still go see her, right? Do you know if she is aware of what is going on around her?

I'm glad you got to snuggle with her again.

Thx for the update! Tink has just melted my heart of the stories that she is trying to let Mommy know how much she loves her! She is being so strong & so is Mommy. Prayers continuing for Tink!

Yes, I get to go see her whenever I want - within reason of course and only for a week cause after that I'll be in hospital and then rehab.

She is aware of her surroundings. She moves at loud noises and lifts her head when someone stops at her isolette.

OMGoodness - I completely forgot to say that they did a vision test this morning and she can see. I knew she could!

Oh, Susie that is once again positive news. Tink is gaining strength, can hear and see. Wonderful! Wonderful! Each day is another step closer to being together when you are both stronger.
