| Jeffsna, Wow sounds familiar. Our little guy is about 5 months old and has bacterial pneumonia. Also slight collapsing trachea. We have had him on three different coursed of antibiotics with some success but it seems to keep coming back. He coughs all the time now if active. We do have a broncho dialater that really helps but the vet says we cannot give it to him for long period of time as it may cause damage. We are on a last course of antibiotics and if he does not improve we will see a local specialist. We have spent a lot of $$ on ROMEO but he is part of the family now and we will do anything we can to get him better. I would suggest maybe seeing a specialist. Ask your vet or check listings in your area. Best of luck! |

| Hello~ Let me say first off I am so sorry you are going through this with your baby. It is horrible and untill anyone has been in your shoes it is beyond comprehension... I too have been going through the same thing. COUGHING HACKING CHOKING ECT.... My boy was on 3 meds he was on PREDNISONE BEUTORPHANOL AND CLYDAMYCIN .. He had been treated aggressively for 5 weeks....He was in ICU 1 week and a half. I sympathize with you on the vet bills too ![]() I am just gonna be blunt with you Im a pretty honest person and I am sure someone may get offended cause some do and that is not my intention at all... BUT I TOOK HIM OFF ALL MEDS... I basically have refused to take him to the vets office too since about 2 weeks ago... MY BOY IS DOING PERFECT RIGHT NOW!!!! I have a skin child who suffered as a NEWBORN with DOUBLE PNEUMONIA AND RSV and he was on a nebulizer and humidifier and ALBUTEROL ECT..... I decided one day enough was enough and took him off everything AND HE WAS WELL.. I tried it with BLEU BOY AND IT WORKED!! I am not a vet I am only sharing a story. I have to give credit to GOD because I bought BLEU BOY in OCT 2007 he will be one in JULY 2008 We are 20 grand deep easily and I HAD TO LET GO AND LET GOD AND TRUST.... It was the best thing I could have ever done because BLEU BOY IS DOING BETTER NOW THAN HE EVER HAS! Hope this helps I pray for you .. It is miserable I know... If I can help let me know!
