| Has anyone had experience with injecting fluids under the skin? Our 15 year old Yorkie is developing kidney problems. She is eating poorly ... will not accept medications easily and hates vet visits, innoculations, etc. The vet suggests we give her injections of fluids daily and that might prolong her life for a while. I don't want to make her remaining life unpleasant and would like some advice from people who have used this treatment. Thanks |

| After careful consideration and replies from the Yorkie site, we decided to allow Duchess her normal life span and not to intervene with injecting fluids. She is a dog who does not like to take medications or be handled medically. She rejected taking the pill pocket we used for her medication (Denamarin) last week and since then she has started to eat well again and is much livelier. We think the medication must have given her indigestion! Good luck with Zipp. |
