I'm so glad that you found out what the problem is. Your right, how in the world are you going to keep that baby calm that long? It's like when a doctor tells a Mom to go to bed and get some rest - no cooking, mopping, sweeping, etc. = yeah, right.

[QUOTE= I wanted to start chatting about my baby, Klae. he had bilateral surgery for his knees on march 10. he is casted and doing well. I am having trouble keeping him crated since he is feeling better and stronger now. I take him to work everyday and thank God for that. His knees were fixed by an orthopedic vet in Ventura, Ca. I am an RN in surgery and it is stressful seeing him not able to walk now. I will keep you posted on is recovery. feel free to ask any questions. thanks Robin (Klae's mother)

I'm so glad your baby is on the road to recovery. But I don't see how you mom's can keep the little ones down and quiet for the length of time required. That's a job in it's self.

Hello! I am new to this. I just registered today. How is Bella doing? I see that you posted in March. The same thing happened to my Coco (he's 4½ years old). He jumped off my bed and hurt his right hind leg. I bought him to the local vet and she said it was soft tissue injury and put him on rimadyl for 10 days. After a month, he could walk, jummp a little and run on that leg. However, he was still limping slightly and the local vet wanted to do some x-rays. I decided to take him to my regular vet, an older and more experienced guy. He felt around and said the same thing or that it could be a ligament tear and did not recommend x-rays or surgery. Has anyone had this happen to their baby and how long does it take to get well? ![]()
