| ![]() You are NOT stupid! Stop blaming yourself! Things happen, to the best of them! We have all been in some similiar situation, I am sure! I wonder what type of injection they gave him? I am sure it will work! ![]() As for keeping them overnight...I don't know...I strongly stand firm that they come home! Even when Mojo had those problems that I PM'ed you about, he was on IV for 7 days and I got to bring him home every night...he would go in every morning, stay there all day on IV and come home every night. They kept the IV thing in his little leg all wrapped up. Course, my vet knows how crazy I am...and we have a very good relationship. Every night, I would keep a list of every time he got up, if anything "came" out and what it looked like, if he drank or ate and how much, etc. Every day, I had a list for them! I just think they do better at home, where they know they are safe and comfy..not in a little cage in a strange place, with strange smells and loud dogs and no one there! Poor things!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() If there is no vet or staff on 24/7 I would bring him home. Is there a 24 hr vet you can bring him to if you have to.I opted to bring Cali home a few weeks ago even though it was a 24 hour ER. I live 7 minutes from them and knew I could get her back in no time if something happened. Next morning she pooped it out. Normally I follow my vets but I knew she would be so much better at home and she was not in serious shape at that point. Only you can make the decision just wanted to give my recent experience. I will keep him in my prayers.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | ![]() I just called and talked to my actual vet, not the tech. He said that he gave him a small sadation to keep him calm. I asked if he had a IV in and he said that he is to small and did not want to give him a IV but he did give him some fluids. He says he would just feel better if he stayed over night, he said he will be in throughout the night to check on him. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | ![]() Thanks you guys for all your prayers. I was not going to say what he ate cause I feel so embarrassed. But he got into the bathroom trash and chewed up a tampon, he passed the string Sunday morning and I was so glad! I thought for sure he was going to be fine. But he kept hunkering over acting like he had to pooh but nothing would come out, he would just cry and cry. He would bite at his bottom, this went on all Sunday. He did sleep through the night, but when I got up with him Monday, took him outside and he was just hunkering over trying to go but nothing would come out. He was crying so bad and I felt so sorry for him, I picked him up and just loved on him, I could feel his belly was hard and tight. So I called the vet asap and told them what he had gotten into and she said that with a tampon, since they swell and we don't know how much he consumed, he needed a exray right away. Well the exray showed very little, so I pray he will go this evening. I asked the vet what will happen if he don;t go tonight and he said that they will do another exray and go from there. This is a pricy lesson for me, I now have my trash under my bathroom sink and will be buying a stainless steel small trash with a lid. |

| ![]() There is no one here who doesn't have a regret about something, don't be too hard on yourself. If he stays tonight, call first thing in the a.m. Maybe you can go see him. It will do both of you good.

| ![]() Girl~ Do not beat yourself up over this... Trust me we all have been there.....I am just catching this thread but I wanted to offer my support and prayers and tell you what I did ... You are brave you posted a thread I was so embarassed of what I did night before last I only told one person.... I was feeding Bleu and Jill and they are on separate foods and I saw Bleu eating Jills food and I was so EXCITED I called hubby and said come look hunny "THEY ARE SHARING" We oohhedd and awwwedddd took pictures... encouraged even put more down..... That night by 7 pm he threw up 8 times yellow foamy stuff dry heaved and was sicker than a dog (TRUE STATEMENT) her food was adult food and no telling what else......He pooped all night.. I was up with him till 4 am... NO KIDDING and on the phone with a dear YT person the whole time... SCARED OUT OF MY MIND he was going to die..... HE ATE HIS THROW UP and was soooo weak... It passed by 11 am next morning which was yesterday and he has solid poop and no vomitting... So trust me sweets it has happened to alot of us.... I was too embarassed to share because it was ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL my fault and I accept and take 150 % of the blame.... Your baby is going to pass this because many are praying and we have petitioned your baby before the Lord to help him... I know it will be hard on you tonight getting rest but do the best you can because he is in Gods hands.... Much luv to ya girl! Vicki
