Don't blame yourself...these guys get into a lot of mischief.
I had this happen to me last Aug. I didn't put mine up because we were just running to go pick up my daughter's birthday cake.

She is fine now...still tries to eat chocolate...ya think she would have learned.
He will be fine, the vet probley just wants to keep him overnight to see what he passes and that he passes it comfortably.
