| Is there a referral hospital in your area? You know where they have orthopaedic surgeons, dermatologists, neurologists and such in the same place? Around here it also serves as our emergency hospital during the night hours. I'm thinking perhaps they would be able to get him in today and would certainly have the ability to take x-rays. |

| He is in a splint! And an E collar, of course!I am so glad I took him to MU Vet School and had xrays! It would of never been caught if I had not!And they are so nice there! No one could get me in my home town, called they said can you be here in a hour or so- I was warming the car up for him- getting stuff together- and out the door we went! They gave him pain killer- so they could move the leg into different positions for the Xrays. And they sent me home with a script of Caprofen- give him 1/2 pill in Am and PM! he goes back in 1 week to check it and change splint! Then again 1 wk after that for more xrays! Banjo does not like his booboo- he is use to playing hard! Not for a while!
