| Thank you for caring. I don't have any human children and this little dog means the world to me. The vet I been with for 17 years assures me this is not life threatening and it is a very mild case right now but this is MY dog and anything that happens to him is huge to me. I know you know exactly what I mean because a little yorkie can wrap him/her self around your heart very quickly. |

| Did the vet recommend anything be done for him? I'm so glad I came on YT right after I got Lucy because I would have never known about collars being bad for these little ones, etc... I hope he feels better and that you post often about your baby!

| Poor little guy. I'll keep him in my prayers. What are the symptoms of that?

| My first Yorkie, Spencer had a CT...he was also over-weight which made his symptoms worse. With loss of weight it improved, but was never really cured. Never use a collar, a harness would be better. Try not to let your baby get over-worked...even just playing hard will bring on an attack. Keep the excitement level down, if at all possible. Most important just give plenty of TLC and enjoy...I certainly know how you feel, your heart hurts when they aren't well. Give your baby a lovin' kiss for me and best wishes to you both. It will be okay...Rickles will be okay.

| When he gets excited and starts barking he will sometimes start to cough. I have cough medicine I give him when that happens and for now it is working really well. He also get sore throats more often. My vet has also given me a steroid to give him when he feels bad. All this has helped but I can't help but worry. I have always used a harness, which the vet said was the best thing. I really appreciate the well wishes and the prayers. Thanks. Joyce Ann |
