Hi bjh of Texas Thank you for your message. The vet has recommended that I puree his food using oily food were possible like oily fish. Also to give cows milk which would normally give puppies a runny motion and a teaspoon of liquid paraffin. You can rest assured that we are doing everything possible for the little chap and I think he knows this. Thanks again.

I actually add Canaola Oil to their food. It helps slip the poop out

| Hi there headbanger, I hope your baby improves, and that the vet can help him. Just curious, do you call yourself headbanger because you like heavy metal music? My son plays in a heavy metal band, even though I'm old(ish) I know about these things Welcome to YT. Sheilagh.

Hi Sheilagh Thanks for your message. Little Teddy is not doing too badly, we go to the best small animal hospital in the uk on Wednesday lunchtime so if they can't help him, no one can. I have to leave him there - that's the hard part - but I have to remind myself that its for his own good. Re my name - I chose another name but was refused as someone else had it and as I was in a hurry I didn't have time to think so chose a nickname my late husband used to call me. Unfortunately I can't remember why he called me that but it certainly isn't for the love of heavy metal. Sorry to your son but my taste is more classical and Frank Sinatra type music. I am not averse to disco type music if in the mood. I am a pensioner but I'm afraid I can't get my head (scuse the pun) round the heavy metal variety ot music. Thanks for writing and as promised I will do an update on Teddy when I get back from the hospital. Regards Margaret

Hi Folks, Well Teddy is safely in his hospital bed now. This afternoon he has had blood tests and tomorrow morning he will be sedated and then internal investigation will be carried out. The doctor has said that she will ring me at lunchtime or just after so hopefully I will have some positive news for you all tomorrow. Thank you for all you thoughts and prayers, not forgetting the crossed fingers, please keep it up for another 24 hours, I'm sure that if enough of us are rooting for him, he will come through this 100%. Many thanks. Margaret

Yippee, good news, Teddy is going to be ok. The hospital rang to say he is fine but they want to keep him in the hospital over the weekend just to make sure his diet and medication are ok and don't need to be changed. I must admit I broke down and cried from sheer relief. I shall miss the little fella greatly but I know that its better this way and he is being spoiled by all the nurses. The vet said that everyone wanted him - can't have, he's mine. Thank you so much to all you wonderful people who have prayed, crossed fingers and kept him in your thoughts. When he is home, hopefully on Monday I will let you all know. My Bestest Wishes to you all Margaret
