| Please Pray for Abigaile Well, here I am again....I need to draw strength from you all again......Abigaile is doing well from her LCP surgery. I'm holding on to the idea it takes a year for recovery. She still holds her little leg up when she runs. Sigh.... I did a really stupid thing on Saturday, she only weights 2lb 6 oz(not now)..so we watch her close to make sure she eats...Saturday morning I was frying "bacon" and put just a little teaspoon of drippings on her food....WELL she started with diarrhea...that night she was vomiting every two hours...Sunday I put a call into our Vet..he called...tells me to let it run it's course..give her only pedialyte for 24 hours. we did...she stoped the vomiting but the diarrhea has continued..he saw her yesterday...took a stool sample..said she was doing good but it would just take time...today I insisted on some blood work..which came back good...but she still has diarrhea...we have to bath her little bottom afterwards..she makes it to her pad...I'm so upset..please pray for a speedy recovery... she is our baby..thanks

| Oh how precious she is. I guess you have tried the pumpkin? Seems like the vet would have given her something for the runs. I hope she will get better soon!

| Pumpkin is great for diarrhea and constipation. It will not hurt to give her a teaspoon full and I know it will help her. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hope Abigale feels better soon. I too have learnd the hard way with my girls, no people food. If she is still having diahrrea in the morning I would call and see if the vet can give you some medicine for the diahrrea. I will keep her in my prayers.

| I am sure she will be fine soon. But please remember that cooked animal fat is extremely dangerous. Small dogs can not digest cooked animal fat and she could have had a pancreatic attack, which is very painful and can lead to a very serious condition. People is ok, but it must be plain and lean |

| I am sorry that you fed her bacon grease, but we all have to learn the hard way. I gave Sophie meatloaf when she was a baby, and she was so sick. Never again. As for the pumpkin, I just learned about it and swear it is a miracle for loose poopies. Honestly, it settles the tummy down when they are experiencing colitis attacks or acidic stomachs.
