| ![]() Chloe tried venison NV last night. She didnt like it much but ate it. Dirung the night I woke up to her throwing up in our bed, repeatly. In the morning my husband tried to feed her not realizing she was sick at night. She refused. I got up at 10 am and gave her the prescription food she had been on and shes been fine since. Has anyone elses dog thrown up raw? She did fine on chicken. |

| ![]() Mine can't eat raw meat of anykind without throwing up. It's probable best to just stick with tried and true. ![]() |

| ![]() Hey, same thing happened to my baby when I tried the Beef NV. She threw up 5 minutes after I gave it to her. She looked like she enjoyed it very much and then she threw up 3 times after that. Each throw up was 5 minutes apart. She even threw up what she had for lunch. I havent tried raw ever since...I have a full bag of it in the freezer now...

| ![]() The venison just may not agree with her. If chicken works for you, stick with that for now. Once she's been doing really well on that for a while, you can try another protein source if you want.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Hmmm...well that's odd bc venison is usually such a clean, easy to digest meat. Do you think she could've gotten into anything else during the day?

| ![]() Cook some hamburger meat and rice, mostly rice ... mix the hamburger with the rice and let them eat just that for a day. It will settle the stomach nicely. |
