| Finally was able to see a new vet for Annie problem. Found that she has a Ruptured Cranial Cruciate Ligament. Vet wanted us to wait and see if she gets better by herself. He said sometime that it does on dogs. but if she gets really bad on limping and holding her leg up, bring her in soon. She is doing a little better every day. |

| Bella has a luxating patella also. The first time it happened she was given mobic an antiinflammatory. prednisone works to shrink tissue/ inflammation and would not be my drug of choice. I crated her for 2 wks. Worked great for her. Occasionally it will slip out but i gently reduce it. I am an ortho trauma nurse and dont recommend anyone else trying this. my vet recommended walking her up hill to strengthen the ligaments around her patella to better hold it in place. Good luck with your baby. |
