shes doing really well shes back to eating and drinking and we went to the vet yesterday and she took the IV out! we think shes going to make it through, she had a tough weekend we thought wed loose her three different times but she seems to be past that. shes still a bit weak in her legs since they are so little and shes so big

but i really do think shell be ok
thanks so much to everybody for all the prayers they truely worked. im forever grateful

It breaks our hearts when one of our babies is sick. I'm so sorry that your family is going through this, but it sounds like she's rallying and I'm so thankful for that! Prayers that she will recover and prayers to keep you strong!

shes a big time kisser so this is huge!

Oh I am just so happy to see this!!!! I wanted to share something with you. I have posted before about my Tigger (MDDSRIP) and his battle with kidney disease, but my senior girl Spanky also went through it.(BTW, it was not the renal failure that took my Tiggie, he was snatched by a hawk.... long story

) Her original BUN level when diagnosed two years ago, was through the roof, it was so high. She went on meds, her diet was changed to Canine K/D, and was monitored very carefully by myself and her Vet. Her BUN level actually returned to NORMAL many months later!!! So please don't give up on your baby having the same happy outcome. Spanky is 12 years old now but your baby is so young, and I feel has a great chance to fully recover.

i just wanted to extend a "final" thankyou to all the wonderful YT'rs who continued to pray day in and day out, our baby girl is home and doing wonderful, i would dare to say almost back to her old lovey self, shes still a bit weak cant jump up on the coach yet but tries her legs are still weak but shes doing great, shes eating chicken and rice wonderfully and drinking like crazy. Were so happy! she saw the vet and they took out her IV which we kept in just in case she had to go back and be on fluids again or to be put down, let me tell you just how amazed every staff person in the vets office came running out to see her just amazed at how well she was doing! i cant tell you how many of htem said they didnt think she would make it.
Its a wonderful thing thats for sure and were so glad we decided to fight for her!
On a scarey note, our total bill just shy of $1500 for one day at the vet and one day at the emergency vet! Normally this would be alot but we would make due, but my husband was laid off on haloween and i dont work as we have four children one of which is special needs and a full time job on his own. I need to figure out ways to make money and fast! anyone with ideas let me know im going to do just about anything im very crafty i just need ideas. anyone with ideas let me know
