Oh I am just so happy to see this!!!! I wanted to share something with you. I have posted before about my Tigger (MDDSRIP) and his battle with kidney disease, but my senior girl Spanky also went through it.(BTW, it was not the renal failure that took my Tiggie, he was snatched by a hawk.... long story) Her original BUN level when diagnosed two years ago, was through the roof, it was so high. She went on meds, her diet was changed to Canine K/D, and was monitored very carefully by myself and her Vet. Her BUN level actually returned to NORMAL many months later!!! So please don't give up on your baby having the same happy outcome. Spanky is 12 years old now but your baby is so young, and I feel has a great chance to fully recover.
Big hugs to you,
Lauren
