| ![]() Ok...I just noticed tonight that 3 out of my 4 babies have smelly ears...one of them is WAY worse than the others. There hasn't been any scratching...and from what I can see there's no "coffee grounds," however, I cleaned out one of their ears with a baby wipe and there was a lot of light brown colored gunk. Is this most likely an ear infection for ALL of them, ear mites for ALL of them, or just that they need some sort of ear cleaning solution? |

| ![]() bianca my bichon recently had this problem. Her Dr. Rx'ed her some Otomax, because there was some yeast in her ears. I put in 2 draps per day for a week, now shes fine ![]() the otomax is greasy as heck though!

| ![]() I'm obviously not a vet, but it sounds like a yeast infection. If you call your vet, sometimes they will just give you the meds to treat them without actually having to take them in. Because they have so much hair in their ears water gets trapped in there easily and makes a great place for yeast to grow.
