I think Gwen came from a Backyard breeder, but I would like to later be a responsible in-home breeder and breed her when she is older. |
I got Pepper from a responsible in home breeder, here in my town. |

I wonder if they r from the same litter, Maxi was born on September 9, 2003! |
honest I bought my yorkie male from a breeder and I paid 2,000.00 for him. Unfortunately he has a open fontanel so he is just our baby.:aimeeyork:) I know he should be replaced but I don't think he would make it some place else, he just goes crazy if he can't see both my husband and me together. So I guess this is not a case of "you get what you pay for" |
I'm hoping I chose the right one here :(. As I said before in a different thread that Bailey's previous owner had her and her siblings in the house; the breeder was just older :(. So, I hope I chose the right one :) |
One of my babies came from an in home breeder:)and the other from a kennel breeder;) they both are very healthy furbabies, we've had no health issues, thank god:thumbup: Luv;)my yorkies:aimeeyork Paula:D Halle:aimeeyork Brutis:aimeeyork |
Romie was originally purchased from a pet store, but we got him from a young lady who bought him and realized she bought him for all the wrong reasons. |
A very responsible at home breeder. She only gets puppies once a year. and scans every one for qualifications. She turned me down the first time, but instead of buying from someone else, I waited till she aprooved of me as a purchaser |
KiKi came from an Omish breeder in Ohio...NOW I know this to be a "back yard breeder"...I don't regret getting my KiKi...but now I know better and I don't recommend them when people ask me where I got her. Thanks to all the information on YT...I have learned a lot! |
Unfortunately until I saw on the news here in LA about three months ago, I didn't know my two yorkies was from a puppy mill. I was so devestated because I thought i had done my research on them. The worse part is, I recommended so many people to her too. My husband made me feel better by saying that at least we can look at it this way, we saved them :) As for my new baby, a maltese, she came straight from a show breeder. I can not say enough nice things about him. Its hard when I look at my little yorkie boy, it hurts me to know I contributed to the demise of his parents. :( |
I got Wenny from Martha (YT: francis53). She was a pleasure to deal with! Also, some of Wenny's sisters are owned by other YT members. Ashley |
I got Krissie Bella for my birthday. I had wanted a Yorkie for sometime and was just getting frustrated with finding a reputable breeder. I had Thyroid Surgery on June 10th and my surgeon's partner's wife breeds Yorkies. She uses the same groomer and vet as I do. I had been asking my groomer and my vet for references pertaining to a Yorkie. I drove up to her house and Krissie was waiting on me. She came out and played with her mom and dad a bit. She was quite the energetic one at 12 weeks. I thought that Terri (the breeder) was going to break down crying. She kissed Krissie on the head and bid her adeui. She had also questioned our vet and groomer about what kind of home that KB was going to. Krissie looks just like her Mother. She has those little short legs and the silver is just pouring out at her roots. She is a dear. I stay in touch with Terri with lots of pictures of my sweet girl. |
