LOL! Thanks for that idea. I just told my hubby and he cracked up -- he said, "Humans outsmarting their dogs, what will they come up with next?"

Mine does not hide as much as he ignores me. We have been scared to death looking all over only to find him curled up on a shoe somewhere looking like all of our calling might be disturbing his sleep.

If one of them even sees a medicine bottle in my hand, they creep off like I was going to beat them!! My oldest female, Ginnger, refuses to take a pill. I don't care how deep you try and put it down her throat, she somehow gets it back up and spits it out!!! So it's liquid for her.

I think I will try the door bell thing. If nothing better happens than they learn not to bark at the door bell going off even on TV!!

That's what I thought too. But Baby hasn't caught on yet!!! LOLOL Even if I ask Matt (my cuz) to go ring the doorbell, she still doesn't catch on. But, Eddie's into agility and stuff, so he's probably smarter than Baby!

I don't know if I am the only one, but I swear Soph used to know the command Sophie Come. Now that she is a big 6 months she does her own thing! She doesn't hide, but she does run from me if she has something in her mouth that she shouldn't. She will run over to the big dog bed and lay down real fast with her back to me. Too funny. Or if she is running aroudn and it is bed time for her she will run. Otherwise she isn't normally more than 2 feet away from me too. It's kinda nice

If Mojo sees me get the shampoo bottle out (yes, he hates a bath), he will hide under the bed. Or the toothbrush or his medicine dropper....straight under my bed he goes.

If we are outside and he doesn't want to come in yet (he thinks he owns me), he will hide under my truck or behind a bush (like I can't see him or know where he is)....BUT if I get aggravated and he can hear it in my voice and do a FIRM "COME".......he comes all loving, as if nothing happened. The little turkey!!!!

Now, if he gets something that he really wants and knows he can't have (like the big dogs kibble, etc)....the chase is on! To him, it is all fun and games!

Awwww.....our little cuties........wouldn't life be dull and boring w/o them?!

You have a Sophie too! I was thinking of how spoiled Soph is attention wise. I am home with her all day right now, and if she is inside if she's not chasing the kitty or playin with toys she is on bed asleep with me or under the big blanket with me on the couch. I carry her around like a baby...too funny!

Windsor runs from me if he gets ahold of kitty poop in the yard..... yuck. Zsa Zsa runs from the brush and comb.

It's worked 3 straight times for Eddie! Too funny. I guess people don't ring the doorbell when we're home, because I've never see his reaction. He goes nuts!

My vote went to "NEVER" - and I had to laugh when I read this poll lol...because HIDING from me is the very LAST thing Stedman would do!
