i have 4 skinkids, 9yr,8,yr4yr,3yr. i have rocky who is 4months (yorkie)two cats 2yr 4yr. a cockatiel a year old ,two pet mice. oh i have a stay cat that i feed every morning lol.

Smart of you! Having a puppy yorkie is a good start to prepare you for skinbabies! Ha! I've had Stomper for two years and I'm just getting to the point of maybe having a skinbaby. When my yorkie was a puppy he drove me up the wall, but he taught me a lot about life. I know that sounds crazy, but he taught me to be more patient (i.e. when he went potty on the floor or wouldn't listen), think less of myself (i.e. oh...I can't be out too long or he will be alone!) and to love! These little furbabies teach you a lot about being a parent.

We have 5 skin babies: 10, 7, 6, 5, 2 & 4 1/2 months. We also have 35 goats, 4 chickens, 3 guinneas, 5 cats, a 15 yr. old black lab mix and 2 Yorkies!

That's kind of the reason I want a dog right now! LOL. I'm already seeing the differences in how my boyfriend and I "parent", I give in and spoil, hes more strict. I think its an excellent idea to have a dog before children, you learn a lot about yourself.

Oops! I went down to the barn and my ducks and geese were mad that they didn't get mention too! We've also got 6 ducks and 2 geese.

Have 4 skinbabies - 4 dogs - 3 cats..... open to having more furbabies ONLY! (Except for grandbabies..... but not until I say so!)

3 skin babies, ages 10 1/2, 8, and 5 1/2, and school can't start fast enough for me! lol

2 furbabies, a 4 year old Lab, and little Schatzi, 4 months... oh, and 2 tanks of fish and a parakeet on the way fro my 8 year old's birthday next month...

Furbaby!!! Maybe in a couple of years we will have a skinbaby but me and my husband love our furkids and they complete our family

I have both; however I waited until my skinbabies were older before I got a furbaby; my skinbabies are 23, 17, and 15. Makes it easier on me, and less trying for a tiny doggie!
