| I have 1 male Yorkie, and he is my little man, we also have 2 Rottweilers a male & female, i don't think there is a preference, I love them all the same and they all love each other, I'm also planning on getting a girl yorkie in the near future for Nemo, he love to play with Simba & Nala but I think he would have more fun , with a doggie his size |

At first it is a little nerve wrecking to even think of putting both dogs together...but my beagle is so friendly and loving that they got along just fine (after a day or two). The funny thing was when both dogs met...my little yorkie grawled at the beagle and my beagle ran away! lol it was funny seeing the bigger dog scared. I'm sure with time your two dogs will get along just fine...especially because your beagle is older and probably more mellow and affectionate...and...okay i'll stop.

| My husband totally feels like the odd duck in our home. Schatzie is our female Yorkie Queen, Annabelle our female Schnauzer, Daisy our stray/adopted female Great Paraynese, two female outside kitties, and in the process of adopting another female Yorkie... We used to have fishes, and probably they were female's too but who could ever tell, LOL!!

| Maybe it's just me but....I definetly prefer my male to a female! His energy and disposition is much calmer. I never had to struggle while I was "Training" him. He learned everything so quickly and easily. She is so different and needy. Maybe I'm just spoiled because my Artie was 20 weeks old when I got him and she is only 7 weeks old? I'm sure she will be more independent once she gets older. |

| Two little girls, Maggie (4.75 pounds at 4 years) and Molly (2 pounds at 5 months). I previously had male dogs (Pomeranians...very sweet dogs), and this time made the intentional decision to get girls...no more marking of territory! |

| I have a male and a female yorkie and I love them both the same but in different ways, if that makes any sense. I don't know which sex I would choose if I had to make a decision! I'm keeping a girl from my litter but the reason I chose her is because she has struggled so and her tail was knawed off and I feel sorry for her That made my decision an easy one as I grew extra attached to her because of it. I don't know how I would have picked otherwise!!!
