| I like to see old threads that I wrote come up again! When I first wrote this thread, I voted: Yes, and still live there (didn't get caught)! But, I need to change my vote to: Yes, but moved voluntarily and now live in a pet friendly home. We moved out of the apartment in March, and are now living in a home of our own. Living on the "wild side" was a little nerving, and I'm glad we don't have to worry about destroying someone else's property or constant barking.

| When my hubby and I moved into our new apartment (3 months ago) we weren't sure about the pet policy...The landlord seemed very easy going and we soon realized people upstairs have birds and downstairs had a cat (it's a 3-family house). The people renting before us had twin babies and we figured, a small dog is not going to harm anyone... Actually, I figured, and managed to convince hubby . We hid J.J first time landlord came for rent but then next time, we let him loose... LOL. He didn't say anything, honestly I don't even know what damage the pup would do. He barely barks and goes on pee pads almost every time now. We just kept him off the carpeted area in the beginning. What you mostly hear when you enter the building is those birds from upstairs, they're WAAAAY louder than J.J. We were actually able to sneak him into a no-pet hotel recently, he was so quiet no one never knew

| oh god where do i start? Alright so at my apt at school they have a 2 cat max policy, but anything else is allowed except dogs.... so i got 2 cats. rescued them both. then I got a chinchilla (then brought it to it's new home so he can have friends, 4 to be exact, and he is now an oops! daddy!) okay, then at a party one night there was this adorable big fluffy gray cat that was wondering around on the side of the road, Miss. Chief came home with us that night, later found out that her and her other sis and bro were dumped on the side of the road. My two were rebelling against her and would have "accidents" all over, so I relinquished her to the shelter (no-kill of course, now she has a loving forever home!) after that I rescued 3 ferrets (who my mom took from me b/c she is in love ) and I miss them after that I decided that I wanted to foster a litter of kittens. So I just brought them mom in last week (to wean the kittens) and have 6 freeking kittens running around! Well.... about a month ago (when the kittens were 3 weeks I think) I got my little Tony! So I had.... 6 kittens, their mom, my two cats, three ferrets, and my Tony all at once. hehe So I am pretty much on the way to being evicted! haha, but I gotta love them The kittens go up for adoption next week! anyone in Dekalb please go adopt them! they have 96 cats/kittens up for adoption right now! Donations are veryyy welcome! http://www.tailshumansociety.org Sorry so long, but I am a big candidate for this poll!!! |

| It's been a very long time since I posted, and THIS thread was my reason for stopping....I take the same point of view I did way back in the threads beginning.....If one knowingly harbors an animal against the agreement they signed upon moving in, they are not honest..Justifications by the offender make no difference in my opinion. I cannot help but suspect that if one chooses to be dishonest in the aspect of a signed legal document, that same person might shoplift, or embezzle from their employer, or steel towels from a motel, or park in Handicapped parking when not authorized, or even commit robbery.....It all boils down to degrees I guess....Like being just a little bit pregnant.....I wonder if one can be just a little bit dishonest.....It does take character and good morals to be honest...as in every aspect of life some have it and some don't.... |

| This is why I bought a house!!! We were going to get an apartment, but it would have to be pet friendly. If I know Rocky isn't allowed somewhere, I don't bring him, so I believe the same for apartments. But I skipped the whole renting thing and just bought, so now I can have whatever I please
