| I like the "in between" coats. Right now, Ginger is really short. She was too long and had horrible mats. I couldn't begin to get them out. I had to pretty much shave her down and start again. I hope for it to grow a few inches and then maintain. It's funny, she wasn't big on clothes until the haircut. Now, she's not protesting at all. LOL!

YT Addict | I keep Lexi's hair short, she's too much of a tom boy to have her hair long. I always see these nicely groomed yorkies at the dog park but Lexi just isn't like that. She like to roll in the mud and get into things - so I have to keep it shorter. Quote:

| Harley's is in-between because I think it looks neater and easier to maintain. You can see her in my avatar

| I kept paddy long because I definitely prefer the long coat. I wish I had the patience to get it the standard floor length even. But now he's so uncomfortably hot he's getting buzzed. Its soooooooo sad. But i figure it will be good for his coat to have a fresh start and then I can grow it out again! So because he's been both long and short I had to vote inbetween lol.

| Long hair or short I keep all four of my girls Middle to long in winter and short in Summer. I do not know how to cut there hair. I take them each month to the groomer .The groomer breeds and use to show yorkies, So I ask her about bathing them and what is the best. She said the same thing as the vet, Only bathe only when needed the longer in between the better. If they smell or get things in there hair then that is fine. As long as I keep the potty area clean then monthy works for me sometimes longer sometimes shorter periods of time between bathes. When I take them to the groomer I do not have them bathe them that way it saves me money. Instead of $50. per dog she only charges me $10 for a trim and $25. for a full cut. They all love to be brushed. And now they dont even mind the groomer. They are so cute after hair cuts and even before. |

| Short. It is easier to groom and more comfortable in the Florida summer heat.

| Lil Bit's hair is short, keep her shaved down. Beamer's hair is long. But could only vote once, so I voted long.

| This poll needs some more options!! I'm with a lot of you, I like Linus's hair quite short in the summer, a little longer in the spring and fall, but now that it's getting cold, it's pretty shaggy and won't get much of a cut until it warms up again. |

| Sammy is getting groomed in a few weeks (to look good for Santa!). I keep his hair a little longer for the colder weather but in the summer if it's really hot he gets a shorter cut. |
