I keep all four of my girls Middle to long in winter and short in Summer. I do not know how to cut there hair. I take them each month to the groomer .The groomer breeds and use to show yorkies, So I ask her about bathing them and what is the best. She said the same thing as the vet, Only bathe only when needed the longer in between the better. If they smell or get things in there hair then that is fine. As long as I keep the potty area clean then monthy works for me sometimes longer sometimes shorter periods of time between bathes. When I take them to the groomer I do not have them bathe them that way it saves me money. Instead of $50. per dog she only charges me $10 for a trim and $25. for a full cut.They all love to be brushed.And now they dont even mind the groomer.They are so cute after hair cuts and even before.
