Administrator | We will not be adding a section on puppymills here on YorkieTalk. After much consideration and discussion, we feel that while puppymill threads are fine here, due to potential legal issues, we will not be having a section on puppymills here. The primary focus of YorkieTalk is about Yorkies. We created MillBusters because we want to stop puppymills and we are outraged that puppymills are still operating, and we would like to direct all efforts into that site. Remember, MillBusters started just like YorkieTalk did, with just a few members and a few posts. It can be as popular and as influential as YorkieTalk, it just takes time for people to find it, just like it took time for YorkieTalk to grow into what it is today. This does not mean you need to stop talking about puppymills here on YorkieTalk, but we feel it's probably best to direct all anti-puppymill efforts into MillBusters. Feel free to post on MillBusters and then share the link with other sites or forums or even here on YorkieTalk. Focusing on MillBusters to help stop puppymills will be more beneficial than just having a section here on YorkieTalk. |
