Are you kidding ME ???

This was in NO way meant to start Drama as you say !! I just wanted to know why members not every member and not all the time can sometime, seem to be so mean and say such harsh words when someone comes to YT for our help.

Some of your were very helpful and gave me a lot of insight as to why. You proved my point that no matter the topic at hand you kept it civil and respectful while still getting your point across and I thank you.!

Some of your replies are so way off topic that I wonder if you have even read my posts. And now I'm being places on an INGORE LISt !! I'm so angry right now. Angry that my search for answers has deemed me an instigator and that this thread seems to have taken a whole other direction. One that was not intended!

You guys are putting me on your "ignore list" just for starting a thread with the hope that it may change how someone replies to a member and their pet in need. With the hope that maybe members would spread a little kindness. Seriously, thats messed up and really upsets me, I'm tearing up !! You have no idea how much this hurts me to see that all of the good I have tried to do here on YT that now I am now being labeled. That is ridiculous and totally uncalled for.

So before I get any more angry and unset over this to quote others " I'M DONE" . . . I am so DONE !!

I’m really sorry if I said something that made you feel bad. I thought your explanation in post 61 and 67 were good ones and I thought the thread had turned into a positive learning experience with people understanding a little better what each side felt. I don't understand why so many people then said "I'm through with this". Obviously, not everyone saw it the way I did, I do feel at times things get too rough here, and I guess it makes me want to stay away. I understand it when the life of an animal is in jeopardy, but that isn’t always the case. We all have different sensitivities and I know many feel we should just ignore the responses that upset us, but that’s easier said than done. Again, I’m sorry if I’ve made you feel bad, it hurts me that you are upset.

I just wanted to comment that I think that is a very nice reply Nancy. It's nice to see people work through things. :thumbup:

That it would seem is what rubs many the wrong way....that you expect people to change their responses to fall in line with what you deem appropriate....censorship :(

On an open public forum, why can't we all just offer our responses/opinions as we choose? No one has to take the advice/opinion of others...they get to CHOOSE that for themselves.

I think you are seeing alot of built up frustration on this thread that we are constantly told how we should post. You dont see us telling people they need to take more of a stand against bad breeders, animal abuse or unresponsible pet ownership yet we are constantly told how we should post or not post.

OP: Do us all a favor and ask for this thread to be closed. You can do that by clicking on the exclamation point at the bottom left.

I believe if you take some time and read through various and random threads on this forum you will see that MOST of them end up going in all different directions. For you to be angry about it is really just making yourself upset...not really worth it in the whole scope of things. As for people putting you on Ignore....I honestly did not see anyone mention your name. Everything said on here is not just about you.

One must always remember that when you post something on an online forum you are going to get all kinds of different opinions....and each person has his/her own style.

And, lastly, to anyone who is sitting here judging people for the way they post, seriously you need to stop worrying about things you have no control over. Maybe just say the Serenity Prayer or the short version of it ("blank it") and move on and make a good day for yourself.

Not sure you want want my thumbs up ;), but too bad, you've earned it. Very wise and well put.
