Belive me, I dont like conflict in any way. Thats not who I am. In my life I run the other way. I try to live a drama free life. But I do care enough to listen, and I am very opinionated and straight to the point. I dont coddle or beat around the bush. But underneath all of that I am a very caring person. Although that may be up for debate right now !! I'm not sure why I cant be that way here. I guess maybe I just dont want to be labeled one of those people . . . uhh uhhh, not me. "Call me fake" (I really hope you dont) but whatever. I just cant do it. I would rather get my point across in the most respectful, kind hearted way as I can. That being said, by starting this thread I now understand a bit better why some members reply in the manner they do. I get it . . .but, I may have never known if I hadn't asked ! |

What parts of this thread were harsh and judgmental? I'm really just confused here. These terms get used a lot without much explanation. |

I honestly wouldn't describe myself as real caring. I care about my family, my pup.....I'm not one of those warm fuzzy people that will always hug you when they see you. That's just not me....so my posts probably won't come across as all warm & fuzzy either. I hope that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to post. |
Sorry, it does look like I was referring to this thread. It should have been worked differently! Some of you did just that. . .which proved my point. There are those who can answer just the question and are willing to provide answers. But than there are those of you on other threads who have taken it one step further by adding such harsh, judgmental words or just plain contempt instead of just answering the question ! |

It would be nice if when I ask a question or post something it came with a Warning: Kind Remarks ONly Please all other need Not bother, but not gonna happen. I know there are all types of people & personalities that not everyone thinks that same way I do. |

I'm still trying to find the "poll" in this OP's post... Anyone wanna explain...or should I just walk away?:p |

I was unsure of where to post this. My mistake... !! I seems that some people want to nit pick over stupid stuff and avoid my original post with the questions that I have asked. Things have gotten way off track. Good thing for (spell check) or I would be getting criticized for that as well. |

I'm really loving this thread. I wish it would be a sticky for when people ask "why is everyone being so mean" or "why won't you just give me help/info" or "what is no one just telling me how to breed my 3lb gril" etc. BOOM send them right to this thread. Sometimes the "harsh" words on here are said from the most honest/truthful place in our heart and out of pure love for these dogs. We are here because we love Yorkies. Not because we love the people that own them. [Although A LOT of you are pretty darn lovable!!] |

Sorry but, this just came to mind...and just for the record, I am definitely "lovable"!:D |

As lovable as I am...Heh, I'm done with this thread. It's casued people who really care about Yorkie's and their health and well being to get suspended. For no other reason then retaliation to being called "rude" and "mean" and I honestly don't think it's fair. Especially considering that I feel this post was meant to simply start drama. Once again, good luck to everybody else. |

I just want to say that my first posts on YT were questions about how to take care of Zoe and to a person every answer was helpful, caring and kind. She wouldn't be here without YT, & I'm grateful to this day. (BTW, there was ample "ammunition" for anyone who "wanted" to be harsh or whatever. But NOBODY was.) Then again, I wanted to keep her alive whatever it took, and it wouldn't have occurred to me to judge the "tone" or "warm fuzziness" of the help I got. I don't understand anyone who wants to prove a point, cause problems, judge others or defend the practices of owners that are not caring for their pets with both appropriate physical care AND love. There are plenty of places to go and find contention and problems--YT doesn't need to be one of them...it's a place to learn, help one another, and enjoy yorkies and people. P.S. I'm a thread killer, for some unknown reason to me :D, so this will probably put this thread to a merciful end. |

I for one would like to have at least 3months before another post of ... "why" are some so mean on YT.... you get more results with honey than vinegar.....you are judging the OP that is wrong....you are judging her/his actions....that is wrong.... Ad nauseum |
I love this quote: "You must be the change you want to see in the world." Mahatma Gandhi Indian political and spiritual leader (1869 - 1948) You may not like the way everyone posts...I'm sure no one here likes what everyone posts! The only one any of us has any control over is ourselves. When I see something I don't think is being handled well, I can either ignore it or post what I think it the right thing. I also try to go to the sick and injured forum to help offer prayers or support. Spending time there helps put things in perspective. Anyone can have a very positive impact on this forum by going there. |
