Lucky and Peanut are cute, but waaaay overused. I vote Ace. It's super cute and not as common.

What ever you do, don't name it Lucky.
Seriously 80%dogs with something horrible that's happened to them (hit by car, poision, bite wound, ect) are named Lucky. It's seriously a curse. Ask any one in the vet field and they will thell you- Lucky is not so lucky.

I guess I would choose ACE. My male dog already had
a name when I got him, at age 3, so I never changed
it. He is named Sassy Raz after his father. Seems to
fit him, although some say Sassy is a girl's name.

Ms. Sassy Pants is our cats name. As mentioned above "Lucky" is not so lucky as a rule. Peanut is cute. I like to let my new pets settle in a few days and start showing their personality then name them. Also keep in mind you don't want to yell something that will make you look crazy when at the dog park etc. lol
