My girls are super active and plays outdoor a lot in the park so we have their bodies shaved but still have their faces long for the top knot..lol

Full Body Shave for Jerome. Houston is so hot and humid that my poor baby gets so hot just by taking him for a short walk.

I keep mine in 3 different cuts now. Sophie has perfect hair that never tangles so she will stay long. Zoeybear has a puppycut (I get it a bit shorter for summer) Callie just got the Schnauzer cut recently because she matts like crazy. They all look so different, but so cute in their own way!

It's so interesting to read what everyone does for trimming/hair styles. I am surprised that so many shave. I still am not sure what I'm going to do for Meg. I brought her to the groomer a couple days ago, but just for a bath and basic grooming. I'm not ready to part with her beautiful hair just yet!!!

Bernie gets a very close shave. He looks very manly.

I always try to leave some length on Ginger, but between mud puddles, swimming, rolling in the dirt and sand, and ALLERGIES, I usually give up about mid summer and she gets a close shave too.

We'll see what happens with her this year.

i have four in show coats but the other two are cut in puppy cuts. I finally found a great groomer. The one groomer ruined my champion. I asked for a puppy cut and she cut her fall and everything on her legs off after I told her I wanted it left on. I was so mad but here is a picture of the other one. She is in a snauzer cut with the little fringe around the side on her chest. This is one of the best grooming jobs I have ever seen. This one is pregnant and I wanted to get her done so the short hair would last thru the pregnancy and nursing process.

I've got 3 yorkies......Lucky's coat is always kept shorter; puppy or schnauzer cut, no top knot. Toby and Halle both have full coats.
I've been debating about getting Toby's hair cut a bit shorter; he seems to have a silky/cotton mix to his hair, so I believe I am going to make an appointment with the groomer in a week or so to get a shorter cut for him.
Halle has a beautiful straight silky coat that I absolutely love; my only wish is that it was a little bit fuller. For now she will be kept in her long coat, though I am hoping to have puppies from her this summer, so we'll have to wait and see what or if I do any cut on her hair when the time comes.
