| I would stay with my own vet for annual exams and health issues, but I might be tempted to take my baby to a low cost vaccination clinic often offered at pet stores like Petco. I would do this for Gracie. Holly has well care insurance coverage I my vet submits claims directly for that.

| We had a more expensive vet a few years ago. I did not care for his attitude about our now late Sissy's skin infection. She got a staph infection from a groomer w/dirty clippers (according to the vet). So we changed to a vet who is less than 1/2 mile from me & really cares about all our furkids. In fact when Sis passed away this past July from old age & congestive heart failure

| I have been very fortunate to find an excellent vet right on my doorstep....she isn't the cheapest around (Pets @ Home - a chain store all have in-house vet clinics that are very cheap) but she's also not the most expensive. When Twinkle was sick she was brilliant and said I was to call the emergency number if she got worse during the night and she would come straight round. All the staff are really lovely, and they hold puppy parties there where new pups can socialise (I haven't taken part in these but they sound pretty great ) Also, I'm always asked, 'Do you want to pay in full, or in instalments?' music to my ears!

| I would stay with your main vet for emergencies and sicknesses, but for just getting vacines, I would go to the cheaper vet. I am planning to take my boys to Petsmart for their vacines when they come up in Dec. Its so much cheaper for the SAME vacines. My vet charges me $400 for vaccines for both boys... but Petsmart will be about $50. If I had a sick baby or an emergency I would take them where I feel most comfortable and that would be with the regular vet or the ER vet.

| I can't switch vets because she is the only one that would put up with me. ![]() Lol, j/k. I am very, very spoiled by Ellie's vet though. No way would I want to switch. And she is very particular about things just like me which makes me very comfortable.
