I have been very fortunate to find an excellent vet right on my doorstep....she isn't the cheapest around (Pets @ Home - a chain store all have in-house vet clinics that are very cheap) but she's also not the most expensive.
When Twinkle was sick she was brilliant and said I was to call the emergency number if she got worse during the night and she would come straight round. All the staff are really lovely, and they hold puppy parties there where new pups can socialise (I haven't taken part in these but they sound pretty great
)
Also, I'm always asked, 'Do you want to pay in full, or in instalments?' music to my ears!
