| I don't think that Shelby or Seymour would like sitting in a dark theater for that long. (Unless they were really tired..... but with all those people in the theater, that would probably not be possible.... they love to get attention!)

| I know that some people have done it successfully, but if I were going to try it I certainly wouldn't take him to Hotel for Dogs. With the dogs barking on the screen it is sure to get him going and he'll probably make some noise.

| No, I've never done that. I don't think I could get away with it to be honest because Lucy likes to bark at everyone if they don't pay attention to her. |

| Nope - I'm sure they might bark because of the dogs. But Bubba & Roxy have been to church yep, it's true

| I was thinking the same thing! I've never taken my dogs to the theater and probably never will but I suppose it is possible if you're dog really likes staying in a carrier for that long and you are absolutely sure that they will stay quiet for that long. However, I know for a fact, if my two hear a dog on tv they have to join in and bark along!

| We took Leo to the movies when he was really little. I just put him in my dog carrier...that looks like a purse and walk right in. No one noticed. I am not sure I could do that today. |

| Although I haven't and wouldn't, I do have 3 friends who have. We can't get thru Dogs 101 without Prince barking. (I would be a concerned about going to a theater that overlooked that.) |

| When Teddi was younger I took her to the movies once inside my jacket. She ended up falling alseep on my neck/shoulder and then at one point she moved and fell over my shoulder. I leaned forward to find her (I thought she wouold be under the seat) and my friend just reached back and grabbed her. She never even woke up!! I thought she would be freaked out but I think she slept throught the whole thing! LOL

| I have never taken Chloe to a movie. I really love movies and wouldn't want to be interrupted ( well any more interrupted than I am with my kids needing more popcorn , snacks , drinks refills and then having to go pee but they're older now so its much better ...now they just interrupt me to get the cash to go get it all themselves ) and I wouldn't want to interrupt anyone else. I have seen a dog in the theater, I don't know what kind it was , it was small and very quiet. It way way less bothersome than the kid behind me kicking my seat

| It never occurred to me to do that and figured our days of going out to the movies, amongst other outtings, would be over when I was ready for a puppy. We had only had our girl for a month last summer when I went on a 9-day family vacation without the then fiance. He decided to bring our baby with him as his date along with a friend of his for an hr and half pre-movie line-up for seats. She was inside her Petmate Portable PetHome soft carrier (that tent thing sold in every large chain store) quietly lining up with him. When he got inside the IMAX theatre to watch Batman, he had the carrier on his lap with it unzipped and his hand in it. She didn't care to come out of it and the stranger sitting on one side of him didn't seem to care. She didn't even bark at the one dog scene they had. Well, she never used to respond to other barkers until she began her puppy classes and learned that there's always a dog at the source of the bark. That was her very first theatre experience. |
