It never occurred to me to do that and figured our days of going out to the movies, amongst other outtings, would be over when I was ready for a puppy. We had only had our girl for a month last summer when I went on a 9-day family vacation without the then fiance. He decided to bring our baby with him as his date along with a friend of his for an hr and half pre-movie line-up for seats. She was inside her Petmate Portable PetHome soft carrier (that tent thing sold in every large chain store) quietly lining up with him. When he got inside the IMAX theatre to watch Batman, he had the carrier on his lap with it unzipped and his hand in it. She didn't care to come out of it and the stranger sitting on one side of him didn't seem to care. She didn't even bark at the one dog scene they had. Well, she never used to respond to other barkers until she began her puppy classes and learned that there's always a dog at the source of the bark.
That was her very first theatre experience.
