| Were your babies 3lbs or under when they got spayed/neutered Just curious to know. Coco is under 3 lbs and is getting spayed friday. I'm very nervous and fearful for her life. Plus once she makes it, are antibiotics and painkillers ok for her because she is so small. Also if you could include how old your babies were when you got them spayed.

| Jo is getting neutered on Monday and he's just now 3 pounds 6 oz. at 8 1/2 months. His neuter will be a bit more involved than a 'normal' one and the vet said he'd be on pain meds and most likely antibiotics too. I understand how you feel...I'm o.k. for now but who knows what Monday morning will bring! I hope all goes well for Coco. |

| Pixie was a little under 4 pounds when she was spayed and she came through like a champ. She was back to normal the next day and she hasn't had any problems and hasn't needed pain medication at all.

| Gus was 6 1/2 months and was just under 2 lbs when he was fixed. I was very conserned but the vet said that he was going to be just fine. He pulled through just fine. I was worried sick leaving him there. When I went to go pick him up he was sleeping and the nurse took his bag to the back to put him in and bring him to me. she said that he seen his bag and was so happy. When he seen me I don't know who was crying more,,, me or him. He was a trooper about the whole thing and healed quickly.

| Reagan was a few weeks under 6 months. They wanted to do it at 6 months but the lady up front for some reason scheduled it wrong, I guess she misunderstood me when I told her how old Reagan was. Anyway they used a laser on Reagan and she did great. She only had a 1/2 to 1 inch opening and was up and running by the next day with no meds. I think the only reason she wasn't up and going that night was beacuse she was so drugged. She was around 4 lbs probably but not sure.

| Lexi was about 3.2 lbs when she got spayed. She came home, was worn out and sore. She had pain meds for two days after, but by the next day she thought she was fine. We had to fight to keep her from running and jumping. Hardly phased her a bit! |
