From all the reading I have done- Yorkies are diggers. But after this weekend- I think Layla is lacking in the digging- her lab friend did ALL the digging and Layla did the retrieving

the only time i've seen Layla attempt to dig is when she is trying to fix her bed just the way she wants it- So- Does your Yorkie dig?

Everytime he gets on the bed, It's like if treats are under sheets.

Gracie digs to loosen the bedding so she can crawl under the blankets. Holly digs at the bedding for the heck of it.

Walker digs, digs and then digs some more!

Indoors, in the sheets and under my comforter. Outside, I don't even know what he digs for

His favorite place to dig is on the beach though. We live on a lake and have a sandy beach front. He can entertain himself for hours digging in the sand for rocks. Then the rocks sink deeper and he keeps digging! It's a blast to watch!

YAY a "true" yorkie.. lol.. that would be so much fun to watch! I told Layla to watch her cousin Khemba but she kinda just looked at me like... i'm supposed to get dirty?? lol I'd LOVE to see video of Walker digging!

My male Artie has no interest what so ever in being a dog or doing any Dog activities like digging he acts more like a Cat than a Dog. Abigail will dig and hide Treats in the Couch and Bedding and outdoors she will dig in the dirt and eat it. Pom Pom will dig at cushions when I hide her Toys under them and outdoors will dig dirt too but they both really go crazy at the Beach especially when they see the sand moving or any little critters moving around.
If I catch them I make them stop but sometimes it's so funny to watch so I don't make too much of an effort.

All three of my girls just dig enough to fluff up and re-arrange their bedding.

Kaylah does the same...digs in sheets or whenever she chooses to lie down at the time. She makes her bedding nice and fluffy and leaves out an opening for her to crawl in if she gets cold.

I know he likes to dig and "bury" things in the house using imaginary dirt, but I don't think he's ever been outside long enough to dig anything out there. Usually we're doing something like taking a walk or playing ball or chase, so he may not have had a chance.

Lily LIKES to dig and will do it inside and out, but she doesn't fly outside just to dig a hole. I think it's more like she'll dig if she's in the mood for it or if something catches her nose's attention.

We went to the beach last weekend though and she REALLY dug there... sand flying everywhere, and she even got her back feet into it too. HILARIOUS!!!!

Cookie will dig around to make herself comfortable to sleep, but outside she digs in this ONE spot in this SAME hole! Grrr! I always tell her no, and to stop digging.. I wonder what makes her dig in the same spot!

Lilly's always dug on EVERYTHING! She digs on her blankets, her toys, her bed, her pillows, my pillow, her daddy's pillow, the couch, my bed and last but certainly not least MY FACE AND HEAD EVERY SINGLE MORNING!

ME TOO! Cookie digs on my face also, (in a playful way) and especially my nose.. she also nibbles on my nose! hehe
