Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought we were going to have a poll to see where it should be held. I didn't think were were going to have MANY polls. If we were going to chose the top cities and have another poll, why leave off cities that were suggested in the first place? We could have 10 polls and narrow it down to where the most vocal chose to have it. That is hardly fair to those of us who DO plan to attend and went to GREAT lengths to attend the KC one even thou it in NOWHERE within driving distance of KC. I don't think any of us are rich or have unlimited funds to travel. I just don't understand the concept of having a poll then having another poll if the city that wins isn't the one someone wanted it to be. This is just my own observations and I hope I didn't make anyone mad, but it just doesn't feel right to me. |

And right now if you add up the votes based on Coasts, there are 70 votes for the East and only 47 for the West, even though currently San Diego is winning overall |

I really really wanted to go. I am concerned about flying 8 hrs with Bella though. How would I potty her? Any ideas? I am willing to try I just will need some ideas if it comes to the east coast!! But if I missed it...it would be really sad for me not to have another chance to go. |

But a lot of folks say they use the pad in the restroom at the airports during layovers - mine aren't great about going on command on a pad. And at one point when we were stuck on a plane that was delayed, I had a flight attendant want to give the dogs water, but I was more concerned then they would need to go - so I turned down a drink for them |

Well I just voted for Alexandria, VA after taking a couple days to think about it! I'm sure if we did a breakdown in the votes, most people voted for cities closer to their homes for various, common sense reasons, travel, financial, etc.. I think it's common sense to also expect that whichever coast wins out, the majority of people from the other coast will probably not attend. I think that is just reality and whoever that may be, we will just have to bide our time until the next year when it makes it's way across country! The US seems to be pretty darn big when you are trying to gather people from one end to the other to meet in one place! :) |

None of it will matter, however, if my financial sitaution doesn't get better by next year...I won't be going anywhere. :( |

Lisa if you plan to fly, there is a definitely layover that's for sure . . is your little Bella pad trained? If so what I do is take Annika to the family restroom so she has privacy and no distraction when whe goes . . .bringing her to the women's bathroom is defintely NOT going to work out for her needs . . . and since all airports have Family restrooms, getting her to potty will never be a huge problem for me . . hope bella does the same too:thumbup: |
I know that having so many polls sounds ridiculous. Perhaps we could have another poll once we get the east coast and west coast location. It seems to me that most of the east coast people are divided between Alexandria and Savannah, but on the west coast most people are only choosing san deigo. But if you add up the totals more people want east coast locations than west coast locations. Also, the distance from Savannah to Alexandria really isn't too much. I don't really mind where it is :) . I just thought I would throw that out there. |
