| What kind of computer do you have? I'm looking for a new computer and I have no idea what I should look for now. I just saw the iMac and thought it was AWESOME but... I've never used an Apple - only regular computers (HP & Dell etc with Windows). How many of you have an iMac? Do any of you have that new thing called Blue Ray (or something like that ? Who has Vista? I want my computer for pictures, emails, letters etc. - just personal stuff. My son said if I got a new cpu that I should go ahead and get the screen and printer too because they all have new connetions now - not like mine. HELP...

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Hi, We've had the Gateway Micros Vista Laptop for a short time. We love it so far. @the time, I was staying with my Mom in the hospital when our computer died (Dell), & my husband bought it. My daughter was advising to get the IMac (she's used those @work & loved it), but he made the final decision and needed in a hurry so that's what we ended up with. Good Luck!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Question: What kind of computer do you have? Answer: AN ANNOYING ONE THAT WON'T FIX ITSELF ! I have a Sony Vaio and I need to format it bad but havent had the time - all in all - it's a great computer when it was in good working order I partitioned my C&D Drive (switched them) and have a ton of memory now on my C drive but If I don't reformatt it soon - I won't be doing much of anything on it. I have a few glitches - self induced of course |

| I have one that was built for me but am getting a Mac within the next year (sick and tired of Windows crap). But I do know that Mac's will run Windows programs along with their own programs.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I have a Gateway and would never get another one. I always got HP before and loved them. This Gateway crashes all the time and is so unreliable. It was super expensive too!

| All of our computers are Compaq and running o\s windows xp or vista. My next computer will be a Mac All the research I have done has shown me that the Mac is the way to go. They are very user friendly, not as many upgrades or patches to install, they have a great "antivirus" equivelant. I haven't heard any negative about an Apple computer.

| I have allways had Gateway's and this is my Third, not because they gave up, but because i wanted a new. This one currently is 2 1/2 yrs old and going strong, matter of fact my 1st one is still going from what i heard (give them to Fam. Members) never had a problem other on my second one the monitor went out and they replaced that as i allways get the 3 yr warranty an i spend between $2500- 3000 on them. You get what you pay for. Then i have an Allienware Laptop that i paid $3500 for, but that is just dedicated for gaming and a backup if my Desktop dies. Wouldn mind trying a mac laptop just to see what all the fuss is all about, maybe next yr

| I went to the MAC side 2 years ago. My DS just moved back home and needed help with his IBM type puter. I forgot just how frustrating they can be! He's saving for a MAC now that he has a grown-up job with grown-up pay. |
