YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Not sure what you mean exactly, (maybe you can attach the picture here) but I'm guessing it has to do with how it got compressed for uploading ... the original photo is fine, right? How did you shrink them for YT?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I also think it has something to do with the compression process. What was the size/resolution of the original picture?

| I see what you're talking about. Maybe it's because I have the same costume. I'm going to add a picture of Beemer in it and then maybe they will see the difference. |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Yes, it is the compression. Is it a .gif file? What program are you using to make the pictures small enough to post?

| Yes, big difference. I don't think that they were large pictures and don't believe any compression was done. I'm at work but will look at them when I get home and see what size they are. Thanks for posting the pictures as a comparison. |

| I noticed that you don't see it on Wyatt - just on the costume and the one blanket. Did that blanket have a sheen to it? The costume is velvet and has a sheen to it but not the sparkles. I wonder if it has something to do with the camera's ablilty to capture an object that has sheen. I have a pretty good camera - a Canon T2I. I wonder if that's the difference? Or - maybe if you took the picture at a lower resolution that's how it handled it. |
