noise What causes the pictures to sparkle or have noise in them like the one I took for the halloween contest. "Prince charming" ? |
no one can help me? |
Not sure what you mean exactly, (maybe you can attach the picture here) but I'm guessing it has to do with how it got compressed for uploading ... the original photo is fine, right? How did you shrink them for YT? |
I also think it has something to do with the compression process. What was the size/resolution of the original picture? |
I'm going to try and up load pictures that have this problem. I have a nikon cool pix I can't seem to get it from my iPad. I'll try from my Mac |
3 Attachment(s) let me try from my mac Attachment 330334 Attachment 330333 Attachment 330335 you can see it on most of these? this is from my mac. |
The photos look fine to me, he is so cute :) |
but when I post them on YT they are all sparkly? there are all white tiny spots thru the picture like a paint brush with white paint was flicked over the picture? |

The only thing that looks sparkly to me is the suit and the blanket has a sheen..maybe I'm not seeing it:confused: |
maybe it is my Mac that is making it look like that? Thanks for the responses. |
2 Attachment(s) I see what you're talking about. Maybe it's because I have the same costume. :D I'm going to add a picture of Beemer in it and then maybe they will see the difference. |
Yes, it is the compression. Is it a .gif file? What program are you using to make the pictures small enough to post? |

Oooooh I see the difference! I don't know why that is though! |
I noticed that you don't see it on Wyatt - just on the costume and the one blanket. Did that blanket have a sheen to it? The costume is velvet and has a sheen to it but not the sparkles. I wonder if it has something to do with the camera's ablilty to capture an object that has sheen. I have a pretty good camera - a Canon T2I. I wonder if that's the difference? Or - maybe if you took the picture at a lower resolution that's how it handled it. |
