Photo theme weeks

Since we were buried in snow when you had the spring flower theme, I thought I'd post a few of these late. I'll toss in action of Eddie and Lucy to make it legit

I finally have my camera back! I need to get caught up on all the themes I missed. Anyone have any suggestions in the mean time?

Perhaps Americana or some such for the 4th? Fireworks again?

Running behind -- here are some for the cloud theme!

We drove to Dawson City, Yukon, for 5 days and traveled the Top of the World Highway. It really feels like you're on the top of the world because the road is often the highest thing around.

The clouds were spectacular on the way home. I was lazy and just shot these through the window of the car as we were driving -- a dead-bug-coated window at that

I recently bought a polarizing filter, and I'm glad I did. The clouds look much more natural.

Great cloud pics, that second one is fantastic, looks like you are in the middle of nowhere and you have captured the scenery and clouds beautifully.
P.S Can't see too many flattened bugs

Better late than never. I loved the cloud theme but needed to get out of town to do it. Went on vacation in Northern New Jersey. Okay all of you stop laughing . . . there are some really beautiful parts of New Jersey. I just love this mountain top lake in Hewitt, NJ.

First is Clouds, Storm Front over the lake, Sunrise and The View from the porch.

See the skinny limbs on the left. Ugghhhh the tree has to go but the environmental committee is just so tough to deal with. The poor tree is not happy but is too big to be cut down without permission. It would be happy to see a new little tree in its place.

Oh BTW the little limbs do not belong to the pine. They are from another tree. The pine is a happy tree!!! And Deuce loves it.
