Those of you who take classes. Do yo go through a college, or where do you find the classes? I need to check out our jr. college for this kind of thing. I think I would enjoy something like that.

I have been taking mine through our local college here in nc...it is a non-credit continuing education class (thats how it is listed) . The classes have been wonderful for me as i knew nothing about lenses, fstops, shutter speeds and all the photo lingo!! I love taking them.. i am on my 3rd class now and have a few more i will take. I love it! Ours run in 8 week sessions one night a week. I highly advise taking classes if you have a love for photography....there is so much to learn!! and its fun!!!

Yeah, I think we may have to! I took a bunch of new shots in the last snow storm, but I still have to upload them. I think we may have snow on the ground until May the way it looks now.
**Off to go find some frozen berries**

Okay, so i know this isnt necessarily a winter shot (snow and all) but we have no more snow! I was practicing this morning on the porch and got this shot and wanted to share!! I get so excited when i can get a good shot of a bird! (doesnt take much to amuse me i guess!! lol

)

WOW! Your focus is spot on. Did you use a tripod? I absolutely love that shot.

Thanks Mike....no tripod..handheld...i was excited to see how nice it came out!! You know how it is.....100 shots...maybe 1 great one!! lol

Ok, since we got a foot of snow in Alabama last week I'm going to jump in on this one. I'm not a good photographer but I got a nice camera for my birthday last summer and I love taking pictures. The first three are from our snow. The scene picture lost so much in reducing it to go on here. Full size it is so crisp and clear. I'm also throwing a bird picture in. I took this one when I'd had my camera for one day. I do love my camera. I have a Canon T2i.
