Need details! Tripod? And look at the exposure details. What was shutter speed? Aperture?

No tripod...
Its the 50mm macro lens... I love this thing!

manual focus... no flash... f1/2.5, ISO 1/1600, shutter speed 1/25sec

My husband got the Christmas tree's put up outside this evening! I love the bokeh effect, so I had to go out in the cold and get this photo.

Beautiful!

I was trying to get a bokeh shot this afternoon too. I like to use them as the background on my phone. How did you get such large bokeh effect? Mine look so small. I was trying it on my Christmas tree and stair railing. Maybe its the size bulbs I use or the distance I was trying to take it from? No clue.
