I think I only took one Halloween themed pic this year! Bad me!

Here's my neighbor and her Aussie in their matching bee costumes. Alaska kids think it's uncool to dress for the cold.

Unbelievable! Skin showing and it's snowing! My 3 were freezing and I think it was 55 here hallooween night.

Aren't YOU the clever one. I love the idea of inside looking out. How the heck did you do it? I'm thinking you either set the camera in the pumpkin on timer or cut off the back of the pumpkin. But I don't see you ruining a good pumpkin for a picture, so I'll guess the former.

That's a great example of how a manual setting on the exposure would have been beneficial. You could have set the exposure for how you wanted the outside to appear, then artificially lighted the inside with a flashlight or candle to match. I dunno. Would have been tricky.

I just stuck the camera in the pumpkin lol... I just used my point an shoot. I tried a couple different presets and just went with it. Probably would have been better to artificially light it. The first pumpkin was smaller thus the flash overexposing I assume...

Those are really great. What camera are you using? I have the Nikon D3000 and I am convinced I need classes. Everything seems underexposed.

So, with Christmas season in full swing ideas for the next theme weeks? Christmas lights?
Decorations?
ANything?
