I just wanna know why they're selling the Canon on a 5 payment plan, and the Nikon is only a 3 payment plan? Probably because the know I want the Nikon.

I'm impatient! I just ordered the Canon Rebel T1i from QVC. They had the 5 month payment plan on that one & it came with some accessories. I can't wait to get it on Wednesday!!!!!

I sure will! It's because of you starting this thread Breny that I even know about these cameras. I just have the normal old digital camera but the pics everyone posted on here just impressed me so much! I can't wait to try it out.

Your camera doesn't have a lens focus motor in the camera body. So, you need lenses that can focus on their own....in other words, they need to have their OWN focus motor (*in* the lens).

For Nikon lenses, you need to look for lenses that are noted as "AFS" lenses.
For Sigma lenses, you need to look for "HSM" lenses (they may have added another auto focus-motor line as well, I'm not totally sure...anyone else?).

As for Tamron...anyone know how they note their lenses that have a focus motor on board?
