Coffee!

I'm not much of a coffee drinker either but love the smell of it brewing. Years ago (and I mean years!) I had some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and loved it. We don't have coffee houses here and the nearest Starbucks is 40 min away, so I caved and ordered some online. It's my Saturday morning drink (after) hubby leaves for work. LOL

Someone mentioned the kona coffee and I love it. At Disney world there is a restaurant called Konas and they serve the Kona coffee and I always have it when I go there.

I was so empty and fuzzy feeling and just hanging there on the chair - waiting at that grim, dark hour of the morning. Hadn't slept much that night and was so ready to about faint from hunger and thirst and caffeine.

This 20 year old kid comes in and sits right down beside me with a huge cup of Starbucks and what smelled like 3, still-warm doughnuts in a white box and starts in wolfing the doughnuts, gulping down that steaming hot coffee just like he'd not had a meal in 3 days! I almost fainted.

The smell of that coffee and those doughnuts is STILL in my head. But it was the smell of that hot coffee that nearly got that kid killed as I sat there starving for my coffee beside him.

You POOR SOUL!!! I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!!
I can honestly say, if it had been me, feeling like I KNOW YOU felt, I would have TOLD him if he didnt get out of that ROOM, with that coffee and doughnuts, his family would be hearing about his violent murder on TV news!!!! I AM ASTOUNDED THE NURSING STAFF LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THAT! We never allowed eating or drinking in the waiting room, for that very reason!!! There are patients in there starving to death.... Totally inconsiderate and rude!

LOL. I started to and my gut kind of heaved from the stuff I'd taken for the test and I kind of just slumped back silent and green!!! Then that kid scarfed it all down in about 100 seconds and it was all gone! But my son was livid. I had to poke him and whisper viciously to him sotto voce to shut him up and finally send him away to keep him from decking the young man. Nothing smells soooooo good as hot coffee in the morning, even in the GI Lab Waiting Room when you are green-faced and weak.

I love coffee.. have ONE cup a day. It is a huge cup... 2/3 coffee, about 1/3 cup of milk and then coffee creamer. I like french vanilla and some sweetener. Yum

Ok, what does the milk do for it? This is the first I have ever heard of adding the milk and creamer!

Every morning, I get up and schlep ASAP (can one 'schlep' in an ASAP manner? I dunno.) to the espresso machine to make my sugar free vanilla skim latte. SO GOOD.

I think it is my version of a cafe latte. My dh makes the coffee sooooo strong (he swears by the coffee beans from costco) that I have to use milk-- but 1% milk does not have the taste of cream and if I used enough cream to make it taste right to me it would be a 1000 calories so I top it off wiith one of the flavored creamers and some apagie (spelling?) sweetners.

Just recently got a Keurig. I absolutely love it! I normally drink my coffee black. But, I am now into those yummy creamers! I've tried lots of them, but keep coming about to the hazelnut.. I like the light roast coffee's.

It is funny because I do the same thing. I love to try the new ones but usually end up going back to my Italian Sweet Creme!

I live on coffee, really, loveeeeee coffee...Tim Horton's xlarge, double double with a shot of espresso, or black; Starbucks, Venti black or a Vanilla and raspberry lattee 2 squirts each with a shot of espresso!

I love all the creamers except coconut anything....I loveeeee coffee!

I've heard so much about Tim Horton's! There aren't any in America, right? It's mostly in Canada? I've heard if Tim Hortons came to america every starbucks and D&D would be shut down!!! I need to go to Canada...I love coffee so much! I'm seriously an addict and can't function without it. I had like five cups this morning.
