I can honestly say, if it had been me, feeling like I KNOW YOU felt, I would have TOLD him if he didnt get out of that ROOM, with that coffee and doughnuts, his family would be hearing about his violent murder on TV news!!!! I AM ASTOUNDED THE NURSING STAFF LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THAT! We never allowed eating or drinking in the waiting room, for that very reason!!! There are patients in there starving to death.... LOL. I started to and my gut kind of heaved from the stuff I'd taken for the test and I kind of just slumped back silent and green!!! Then that kid scarfed it all down in about 100 seconds and it was all gone! But my son was livid. I had to poke him and whisper viciously to him sotto voce to shut him up and finally send him away to keep him from decking the young man. Nothing smells soooooo good as hot coffee in the morning, even in the GI Lab Waiting Room when you are green-faced and weak.
