I'm with you on that one.But I may have to have a little taste test now. Next time I'm making up a crudités platter I will buy a jar of both and see if I can tell the difference.

There was an incident years ago...with Pinto Beans:D a co-worker told me to soak the dry pinto's in water with baking soda to remove the "gas" factor...she left one step of the process out..you must rinse the beans after soaking them in the baking soda water. I just poured the beans into a pan of clean water and proceeded to cook them.
DH took them for his lunch the next day.He came home that evening and asked what the @&%& I had done to the beans. Seems as baking soda combined with pinto beans...bloated him so badly that he felt he was going to implode:D He accused me of trying to kill him off:eek: :D

and then there was the chili incident:D I didn't realize until we started eating...that I had mistakenly used hot red pepper for chili powder...OMG we were shooting flames when we would breathe:D It didn't set in until the 3rd or 4th bite:eek: I froze that batch of chili and in small containers and used it as a started for chili all that winter. It is a wonder my DH will trust my cooking at all:D

He has to trust you to cook more than he trusts himself.....I haven't heard any stories about you placing a glass lid right on the stovetop to use as a cooking vessel for soup :eek:
