| Dining out on SOMEONE ELSE's Dollar, What would you order? If you were to eat in a restaurant, and money was no object...what would you order? Let's assume this meal was prepaid (as in an all inclusive resort or cruise type situation, but in any restaurant you choose) so there are no issues with politely ordering "just a salad" or a mid range meal Would you play it safe and order something you have had several times in the past and know you love? Or would you try something new and risk not loving the meal, bur eh, it was free! I tend to love a variety of dishes so I have a lot to choose from but have a hard time ordering something new to me (usually fish ~ fish is iffy to me), even when I'm not paying! I'm trying to break down those barriers! What would you do?

| I always tend to play it safe...I am not a very adventurous when it comes to eating strange food. If someone else was paying I would try something I hadn't had before as long as it didn't sound too weird

| I would probably try something new but not fish. I dont like fishy taste at all so im afraid of ordering fish. I usually just try a bite if my Husband orders fish so I can say I tried it. Im that way with king crab legs too they taste fishy to me I love the snow crab though

| For seafood, I'd order Maine lobster, hush puppies and a nice salad. For sandwiches, I'd order veggie croissant sandwich with salad or a salad with broccoli cheese soup. I would order these regardless who pays.

| I don't order fish out...don't like it to fishy either. My all time favorites is anything chicken and I can't go wrong. If not in the mood for chicken...I would go with soup & salad as my second choice. I'd be the same..out of my wallet or anothers.

| Maine lobster, if someone else is picking up the tab....a GOOD size lobster, not a $45.00 6 inch lobster tail!!!! Any other time, shrimp or crab cakes if the crab cakes are excellent! Dont like those that are 75% breading!! |

I guess I was thinking more of a really extra special treat or something you would be afraid you wouldn't like and waste money on ~ sort of like if you had cart blanche and not just taking advantage of a friend

| I had to google Lazy Man's Lobster. Are you talking about a casserole? Sounds good actually.

| I would never order chicken in a restaurant, I feel it's a waste of money. Of course I would always order the seafood or steak. Or something I've never tried before, bc I am an adventurous eater.

| We just had the best crab cake ever at Parker's Lighthouse in Long Beach last week. It's regularly $14 for one cake, but we went for Happy hour so it was $6. A big cake with mostly all meat that it wouldn't even stay stuck together and some panko on the outside for crunch.
