This is My, Every Weekend.... There are soooo many new restaurants opening up here in DC and the weather has been sooooo nice in the evenings... the best is when we can sit outside. We try a new restaurant just about every weekend. This past weekend it was s Sushi restaurant called Kushi. They have a wood burning grill that they make a lot of the food on. We ordered lots of different things... The Pork Belly.... [pictured on their website] was Amazing!!

Usually the first time we try a new place I will order a salmon dish if they offer one or something I normally wouldn't order.... if we end up going back I will then start ordering some sort of nice big salad.

I will usually splurge one meal a week and then I have to be really good the rest of the week as not to put any weight on. It works though. That way I don't feel deprived.

Yum! Yum! I am starting to get hungry, now!!

I would try it again if your Dad prepared it! I don't know what it was...green poop stuff or texture. How does your Dad prepare it?

He batters and fries them in olive oil......amazing!!!! Anything fried works for me LOL. He also cleans them out before he cooks them. I literally can't stop eating them delicious!

Yeah they are supposed to be cleaned before eaten, such as cutting off the face, and taking out the gills/lungs thingys.

I guess I should have worded the question as if all of the food was of equal price. People seem to g=be getting hung up on "who is paying" when all I really want to know is:

I posted mine. I would add a nice cheese but my tummy doesn't do cheese, though I love it.

Well, I have been wondering what Sweden's Moose Cheese would taste like since it is so expensive so I would probably order a small wedge of that!

Since i'm allergic to shellfish I would go with whatever top steak they offer and order it med. rare. Or their house special, whatever it is. (as long its not shellfish) mmm....getting hungry now too..
