| Heehee! Sorry I'm so slow to respond. Please be patient, I would love to share my recipe but I need to do a little digging. It's somewhere on my hard drive with the rest of the others. I will post it some time this week |

![]() Ingredients: 1 1/2 lb potato 1 onion 1 carrot 1 celery 8 oz diced smoked ham 3 cloves garlic 3 tbsp butter 1/4 cup flour 4 cups chicken broth 2 cups water 1/2 cup cream salt and pepper to taste cayenne chives Instructions: Dice veggies, ham, and cube potatoes Melt butter to a light golden brown over medium heat Sweat the vegetable with sliced garlic for about 5-6 min Add flour to form a roux and cook for about 3 min Pour in chicken broth and simmer 15 minutes Place potato in crockpot and transfer the rest on top Add water and set crockpot to setting of your choice When potatoes are soft give it 8-10 smashes to thicken (Skimming the butter is optional) Add salt, cayenne, and black pepper to taste Pour in a dash of cream Garnish with fresh chives | |
